Warehouseman I

Busch Vacuum Solutions is a leading manufacturer of vacuum pumps, compressors, and blowers for industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, food processing, metallurgy, biomedical, and material handling. This role supports daily warehouse and manufacturing operations through the safe and accurate movement of materials at our United States headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the correct quantity and correct material are issued
• Verify inventory counts through weekly cycle counts
• Check incoming material in the computer system and store it in designated areas
• Separate non-conforming material to prevent accidental use
• Raise visibility of processes contributing to errors
• Maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts, storage racks, computers, and pallet jacks, according to established guidelines

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Forklift experience (stand-up and/or sit-down)
• Experience using lifting-assist equipment, including cranes and hoists
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
• Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen and 7-year criminal history check (most felonies are a disqualifier; misdemeanors are considered on a case-by-case basis)
• Ability and willingness to travel occasionally (up to 5%) for training purposes
• Valid Driver’s License that meets Busch insurance standards (must be maintained throughout employment)
• Current work authorization in the United States (visa sponsorship is not available)

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking, bending, reaching, grasping, and material handling
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Regular use of hands for handling, grasping, and operating equipment
• Ability to hear and respond to alarms, horns, and other safety notifications
• Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, safety footwear, hand protection, and hearing protection as needed

Pay

$17.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.

Schedule

Full-time, fully onsite position, Monday through Friday, day shift.
