(Sturgeon Electric) – a subsidiary of MYR Group Inc. – has provided complex, large-scale electrical construction services for clients throughout the western United States. Sturgeon Electric offers industry-leading electrical transmission, commercial and industrial, and renewable energy services. It has two divisions, providing both powerline construction and commercial/industrial electrical construction. The C&I electrical construction division specializes in large-scale commercial electrical projects, telecommunications, traffic signalization, gas distribution, high voltage distribution service and maintenance to clients. Sturgeon Electric also offers design-build and pre-construction services and has in-house pre-fabrication and AutoCAD capabilities.
Essential Functions
- Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication and transportation of materials
- Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles
- Maintain inventories
- Maintain condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
- Follow company safety policies and procedures
- Receive and fill orders
- Drive company vehicles to pick up and deliver material
- Regular and predictable attendance
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 - 5 years of warehouse experience, electrical experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Experience with tool/material tracking databases, Tool Watch preferred, Number sense, Ability to problem solve, Positive attitude and team player, Self-starter, Attentive to details, Organized, punctual, reliable, CDL Class A driver's license within 60 days of hire
What We Offer
- Compensation: Salary $35,000-$55,000 / year
- Benefits: Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
