About the role

Ingram Micro is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, storage, order fulfillment, and material handling.
  • Developing, coaching, and mentoring supervisors and warehouse associates, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Establishing operational goals, monitoring KPIs, and driving performance in safety, productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and customer service.
  • Planning and coordinating warehouse resources, staffing, and workflows to maximize efficiency and optimize warehouse space utilization.
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and effective inventory control processes.
  • Monitoring compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, safety standards, and operational procedures.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance operational performance, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams including Transportation, Inventory Control, Engineering, Human Resources, and Customer Service to support business objectives.
  • Resolving operational challenges and serving as the escalation point for warehouse and customer-related issues.
  • Ensuring warehouse facilities, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a safe, clean, and organized environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, storage, order fulfillment, and material handling.

Develop, coach, and mentor supervisors and warehouse associates, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.

Establish operational goals, monitor KPIs, and drive performance in safety, productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and customer service.

Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and effective inventory control processes.

Monitor compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, safety standards, and operational procedures.

Identify and implement process improvements that enhance operational performance, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

Partner with cross-functional teams including Transportation, Inventory Control, Engineering, Human Resources, and Customer Service to support business objectives.

Resolve operational challenges and serve as the escalation point for warehouse and customer-related issues.

Ensure warehouse facilities, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a safe, clean, and organized environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Minimum 5 years of warehouse, distribution center, logistics, or supply chain experience, including at least 4 years managing warehouse operations and 2 years of people leadership or 4 years of leadership experience.

Proven experience leading supervisors and high-performing teams in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center environment.

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory management, material handling, and warehouse process optimization.

Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory control systems, and Microsoft Office applications.

Demonstrated ability to manage operational priorities, allocate resources, and achieve productivity, quality, and service goals.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with experience using operational metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.

Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead operational change initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to travel up to 25% for training and business meetings.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a drug test.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check.

Must be able to work flexible hours and occasional overtime as needed.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods of time.

Pay

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $88,700.00 - $150,800.00 per year.

Schedule

This role operates on a First Shift schedule, Monday through Friday.
