Shift Manager (18Yrs +)

About the role

The role involves leading shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers oversee the team and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Planning for each shift
• Making sure the team meets McDonald’s standards
• Communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for the next shift
• Maintaining safety, security, and profitability
• Meeting targets during shifts and helping departments meet their goals

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Positive attitude and a flexible schedule
• Passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment
• Must be 18 years or older to apply

Qualifications

Education through Archways to Opportunity, including opportunities to earn a High School degree, college tuition assistance, and English classes as a second language.

Skills

Knowledge of food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance and cleanliness, managing crew, quality food production, exceptional customer service, safety and security, and scheduling.
