Warehouse Group Leader
Responsibilities
- Affords warehouse manager and supervisor with leading daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
- Motivates warehouse associates to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and attendance expectations.
- Works with warehouse manager and supervisor to monitor workflow, KPI’s (key performance indicators) and staffing throughout the shift to ensure operational goals and deadlines are met.
- Ensures that all orders are processed accurately and shipped on time while meeting customer and company standards.
- Pairs with transportation, inventory control, customer service, and other departments to resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
- Promotes and enforces all safety policies, procedures, and equipment standards.
- Conducts daily team huddles, communicates priorities, and provides real-time feedback and support to associates.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce errors, and improve overall warehouse performance.
- Supports training and onboarding of new team members while helping build a positive and accountable team culture.
- Assists with problem-solving and decision-making during operational challenges and high-volume periods.
- Supports final mile load-out operations and ensures shipment readiness.
- Acts on behalf of the supervisor during absence.
- Acts as First Responder during Plant emergencies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Basic computer skills – MS Word and MS Excel
- Bilingual (Spanish-English)
- Ability to interact in a positive manner with team members to achieve goals

- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Basic ability to troubleshoot production/personnel issues
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in manufacturing / production environment
- 1st Aid/CPR Training and Emergency Response Training
- Basic Excel and Group Wise training
- Continuous Improvement training
- On the job training to enhance safety, productivity, and troubleshooting skills
