About the role

The Warehouse Group Leader coordinates the actions of a group of Associates responsible for shipping and receiving raw and finished goods in compliance with the Rich’s Manufacturing System. This position plans and coordinates staffing, communicates expectations and schedules to the group, ensures materials, machinery, and tools are available throughout the shift, trains associates and monitors their performance, and drives continuous improvement. This is an hourly, direct labor role supporting the Production Team Leader, coordinating 10 to 15 Associates, and facilitating two-way communications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe work environment for the group.
  • Execute labor standards and run rates to optimize product costs.
  • Enforce food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) policies.
  • Ensure product quality checks are completed and meet standards.
  • Coordinate people, processes, materials, and equipment to maintain schedule attainment; identify interrupters impacting performance.
  • Use Rich’s Great Leader Drivers to drive results and engagement with a team of Production Associates.
  • Show Associates the connection between their work and Rich’s customers.
  • Operate production equipment when required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and train associates.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, data extraction, and analysis).
  • Experience with RF and SAP systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations, GMPs, sanitation processes, and HACCP.
  • Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and implement improvements.
  • Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Ability to plan, organize, and drive continuous improvement.

Pay

Hourly rate: $21.00.
