About the role

Join the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States as a Warehouse Associate at Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries. This role involves a variety of material handling duties in a family-friendly work environment that supports work-life balance and promotes from within.

Responsibilities

• Pull and assemble customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Perform inventory stock checks, restocking, and labeling vendor products.
• Maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.) and replenish materials.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and move/store materials.
• Receive and unload inbound material, process shipments, and handle customer returns.
• Notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operate forklift equipment daily.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility (sweeping, trash removal, restroom/office maintenance).
• Assist customers and prepare sales slips as needed.
• Uphold safety rules, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Certified Forklift Operator.
• 3+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic math skills, organization skills, and customer service skills.
• Fluency in English, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
• Must be able to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• May require sitting, climbing, balancing, talking, or hearing.
• Ability to regularly lift 15-30 lbs; occasionally lift up to 70 lbs (team lift required for materials over 70 lbs or longer than 36 inches).
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay

Expected base pay rates for this role range from $14.87 to $18.60 per hour at the commencement of employment. Base pay is determined on an individualized basis and is part of a broader compensation package that may include commission, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and other short- and long-term incentive programs.
