WAREHOUSE ASSOC II - SSC

About the role

Join Dal-Tile, the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States and a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries. This position involves performing a variety of material handling duties in a warehouse setting, including the daily use of forklift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pull and assemble customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Perform inventory stock checks, restocking, and labeling of vendor products.
• Maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.) and replenish materials as needed.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and move, store, and organize materials.
• Receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, and stock material.
• Process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility through sweeping, trash removal, and general office maintenance.
• Assist customers and prepare sales slips as needed.
• Adhere to all safety rules outlined in the Safety Program and report accidents, unsafe conditions, or acts to management.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Certified Forklift Operator.
• 3+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic math skills, organization skills, and customer service skills.
• Fluency in English, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
• Required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• May need to sit, climb, balance, talk, or hear.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay

Expected base pay rates for this role range between $16.39/hr and $20.45/hr at the commencement of employment. Base pay is determined on an individualized basis and is part of a broader compensation package that may include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and other short and long-term incentive packages.
