WAREHOUSE ASSOC II - SSC

About the role

Join the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States as a Warehouse Associate II at Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries. This role involves a variety of material handling duties, including receiving, loading/unloading material, pulling and assembling customer orders, and conducting inventory checks. Daily use of forklift equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling and assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy and completeness, and conducting inventory stock checks.
• Restock and label vendor products, maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.), move, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.
• Perform receiving duties including unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments and stock material, handling customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility by sweeping, removing trash, and performing general office and restroom maintenance.
• Assist customers and prepare sales slips as needed.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety rules outlined in the Safety Program and reporting accidents, unsafe conditions, or acts to management.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Certified Forklift Operator.
• 3+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic math skills, organization skills, customer service skills, and fluency in English.
• Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The role involves walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee may also need to sit, climb, balance, talk, or hear. The associate must be able to:

• Regularly lift up to 15-30 lbs.
• Safely lift up to 70 lbs at certain times (team lift required for materials longer than 36 inches or weighing more than 70 lbs).
• Use specific vision abilities including close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
