WAREHOUSE ASSOC II - SSC

About the role

Performs a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse, including receiving, loading/unloading material, pulling/assembling customer orders, inventory checks, and daily use of forklift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pull and assemble customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor products, and maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.).
• Move, store, and replenish material, and perform daily cycle counts.
• Receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments and stock material, handle customer returns, and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operate forklift equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility by sweeping, removing trash, and performing restroom and general office maintenance.
• Assist customers and prepare sales slips as needed.
• Maintain a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules and reporting accidents, unsafe conditions, or acts to management.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Certified Forklift Operator.
• 3+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred.

Skills

• Basic math skills.
• Strong organization and customer service skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Detail-oriented and safety-conscious.
