Waitstaff: Part time - Saturday 11am-8pm & Sunday 7am-3pm

Responsibilities

• Taking resident meal orders
• Checking station tables for settings and cleanliness
• Reading the menu before service to assist residents with their selections
• Aiding in the plating and portion control of various dishes including appetizers, salads, soups, beverages, and desserts
• Bussing tables at the end of the meal

Requirements

• Experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant or food-service-related industry
• Strong ability to multi-task
• Good communication, customer service, and people skills
• Professional, patient, and capable of satisfying a demanding customer base
• Experience working with a senior population preferred, but not required
• Willingness to be a team player and help out where needed
• Familiarity with food safety, food preparation, and board of health guidelines
• Able to adjust to different personality types and situations in positive ways
• Reliability, care, and gentleness in actions and demeanor
• An abiding respect for the elderly and calmness at all times

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant or food-service-related industry, strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication and customer service skills, and a professional, patient, and accommodating demeanor. Experience with seniors is preferred but not required. The candidate must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a respectful attitude towards the elderly, and adhere to food safety guidelines.

Skills
