Waitstaff: Part time - Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday 4pm-8pm

Responsibilities

• Taking resident meal orders
• Checking station tables for settings and cleanliness
• Reading the menu before service to assist residents with their selections
• Aiding in the plating and proper portion control of various dishes
• Bussing tables at the end of the meal

Requirements

• Experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant or food-service-related industry
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
• Strong multi-tasking abilities
• Good communication, customer service, and people skills
• Professional, patient, and capable of satisfying a demanding customer base
• Experience working with a senior population preferred, but not required
• Willingness to be a team player and help out where needed
• Familiarity with food safety, food preparation, and board of health guidelines
• Able to adjust to different personality types and situations in positive ways
• Reliability, care, gentleness, and respect for the elderly

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant or food-service-related industry
• Strong ability to multi-task
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Experience working with seniors is preferred but not required
• Team player willing to assist in creating a positive dining experience
• Familiarity with food safety and preparation guidelines
• Ability to remain calm and respectful in all situations
