Waitstaff: Part time - Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 4pm-8pm

As part of our Waitstaff team, you'll deliver a premier dining experience—chef-prepared cuisine served three times daily in a country club atmosphere. Your compassionate, patient, and cheerful approach will ensure residents enjoy the same satisfaction they’d feel at an upscale restaurant, enhancing their quality of life and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Patiently and cheerfully take resident meal orders.
• Check station tables for proper settings and cleanliness.
• Review the menu before service to knowledgeably assist residents with selections.
• Assist in plating and portion control for appetizers, salads, soups, beverages, and desserts.
• Bus tables at the end of meals.
• Ensure all meals are served and presented according to guidelines set by the Director of Food Service.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant or food-service-related industry.
• Able to function in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
• Strong communication, customer service, and people skills.
• Professional, patient, and capable of satisfying a demanding customer base.
• Experience working with a senior population is preferred but not required.
• A team player willing to assist where needed to ensure a pleasurable dining experience.
• Familiarity with food safety, food preparation, and board of health guidelines is a plus.
• Able to adjust to different personality types and situations positively.
• Reliable, caring, and gentle in actions and demeanor.
• Maintains an abiding respect for the elderly and remains calm at all times.
