About the role
We are looking for a VP of Influencer Marketing to build and lead one of the strongest creator organizations in the industry. This is not a campaign management role. This is a company-building role.
Responsibilities
- Create and expand one of the largest and highest-quality performance creator networks in the industry
- Continuously grow our global creator ecosystem across key verticals and platforms
- Build long-term relationships with exceptional creators and talent representatives
- Increase creator earnings and lifetime value
- Ensure every client has access to exceptional creators capable of producing high-performing content at scale
- Build repeat collaborations and long-term partnerships for creators
- Build a preferred roster of trusted creators who consistently produce outstanding content
- Build repeatable systems that consistently deliver exceptional creators for every client
- Scale creator whitelisting across our client portfolio
- Partner with Growth and Creative teams to maximize paid media performance
- Turn creator marketing into a predictable growth engine rather than a campaign-based service
- Build scalable systems across sourcing, outreach, negotiations, contracting, approvals, production, and reporting
- Leverage AI and automation to improve speed, quality, and operational efficiency
- Establish world-class operating standards across the influencer organization
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing global influencer marketing organization
- Build future leaders within the department
- Establish clear KPIs, accountability, and operating rhythms
- Foster a culture of ownership, speed, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Build an organization capable of supporting the company's next stage of growth
- Continuously evaluate new platforms, technologies, and creator trends
- Leverage AI to improve creator discovery, relationship management, forecasting, and operations
- Identify opportunities to strengthen Advantage HQ's competitive advantage in creator marketing
- Ensure the company remains at the forefront of the creator economy
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience leading influencer marketing, creator partnerships, creator operations, or talent organizations
- Proven experience building and scaling high-performing influencer marketing teams
- Experience managing large creator ecosystems and long-term creator relationships
- Deep understanding of creator economics, whitelisting, licensing, usage rights, and performance marketing
- Experience partnering closely with paid media and creative teams to drive measurable business outcomes
- Experience building systems that scale rather than simply managing campaigns
- Strong commercial mindset with an understanding of how creator marketing drives profitable growth
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Strong operator with a bias toward ownership, execution, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Experience managing thousands of creator relationships at scale
- Experience leading influencer organizations within high-growth agencies or creator platforms
- Experience building creator communities, ambassador programs, or creator marketplaces
- Experience leveraging AI and technology to improve influencer operations
- Experience leading globally distributed teams
- Experience partnering directly with founders and executive leadership teams

$250,000–380,000 USD total annual compensation, including base salary, performance bonus, and equity
