About the role

We are seeking a visionary and commercially driven VP of Influencer Marketing to lead and scale our influencer strategy globally. This is a senior leadership role for a seasoned marketing executive who understands the creator economy at its deepest level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the global influencer marketing strategy, aligning it with broader brand, growth, and revenue objectives.
  • Identify emerging platforms, creator trends, and audience shifts to keep the brand ahead of the cultural curve.
  • Build a scalable influencer program architecture spanning awareness, consideration, and conversion across all tiers, from nano to mega influencers.
  • Serve as the internal authority on the creator economy, educating and advising senior stakeholders and the C-suite.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of influencer marketing managers, coordinators, and agency partners.
  • Foster a high-performance culture built on creativity, accountability, data-fluency, and collaboration.
  • Set clear team goals, establish performance standards, and ensure consistent career development for direct reports.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with top-tier creators, talent agencies, and multi-channel networks (MCNs).
  • Negotiate and close high-value influencer partnerships, ambassador programs, and long-term brand deals.
  • Build a diverse and inclusive creator roster that authentically represents the brand’s audiences and values.
  • Oversee the full partnership lifecycle from briefing and contracting through content approval, publishing, and reporting.
  • Partner closely with Brand, Performance Marketing, Social, PR, and Product teams to integrate influencer into integrated campaigns.
  • Ensure seamless execution of influencer activations across product launches, seasonal campaigns, and always-on programming.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all partnerships adhere to FTC guidelines and platform policies.
  • Own the influencer marketing budget, allocating spend efficiently across channels, tiers, and campaign objectives.
  • Define KPIs and build robust reporting frameworks to measure reach, engagement, sentiment, EMV, and attributed revenue.
  • Leverage data and consumer insights to continuously optimize creator selection, content strategy, and campaign performance.
  • Present results, learnings, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership on a regular basis.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years focused on influencer or creator marketing at a senior level.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling influencer programs that drive measurable brand and business outcomes.
  • Deep knowledge of the creator economy, social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging channels), and influencer tools/platforms.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing and developing multi-person marketing teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing multi-million dollar budgets and negotiating complex partnership agreements.
  • Data-driven mindset with fluency in performance metrics, attribution modeling, and reporting tools.
  • Outstanding communicator and relationship builder — you can inspire a creator and a CFO in the same afternoon.
  • Experience in a consumer brand, agency, or high-growth startup environment preferred.

  • Signed a portfolio of meaningful creator partnerships that elevate brand awareness and drive revenue.
  • Established a measurement framework that gives leadership clear visibility into influencer ROI.
  • Become a trusted cross-functional partner and the go-to voice on creator strategy across the business.
