About the role

The Vice President of Finance will serve as the company's senior finance executive and trusted advisor to the CEO. This role is ideal for an experienced SaaS finance leader who enjoys both strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Own the entire finance function—including accounting, FP&A, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial operations—while helping shape the company's long-term strategy and preparing the business for its next stage of growth.
  • Help build the financial infrastructure necessary to support a modern, data-driven SaaS organization.
  • Develop scalable processes, improve forecasting accuracy, strengthen financial controls, automate manual workflows, and provide clear financial insights that enable better business decisions.
  • Assess, build, and scale a modern finance organization, determining the right mix of internal talent, external partners, systems, and processes to support the company's next stage of growth.
  • Deliver timely, accurate financial reporting and executive- and Board-ready materials that support informed decision-making.
  • Partner with department leaders, the Board, auditors, tax advisors, and private equity stakeholders to support strategic planning, capital allocation, and future transaction readiness.
  • Lead the continued modernization of the finance function, creating scalable processes and infrastructure that enable long-term operational excellence.

Requirements

You must have significant finance leadership experience within B2B SaaS or technology businesses. You should possess deep expertise across accounting, FP&A, SaaS metrics, forecasting, and financial modeling, and have successfully partnered with executive teams, Boards of Directors, and private equity investors.

You should have built or transformed finance organizations, improving financial reporting, systems, controls, and operational processes in growing businesses. You should bring both strategic leadership and a hands-on mindset, and be energized by building a high-performing finance function from the ground up.

You should possess outstanding leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills and thrive in fast-paced, high-accountability environments. You should use modern AI tools responsibly to improve productivity, automate routine work, analyze information, and support better business decisions while exercising sound judgment.

You should possess a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and consistently demonstrate an "I'll figure it out" approach.

Qualifications

You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

You must have a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years of experience in a senior finance leadership role within a SaaS or technology company.

You must have a CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification.

Benefits

Base Salary Range: $210,000 – $235,000
