About the role
As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will be responsible for providing wealth management and financial planning advice to existing Schwab clients. Over time, you'll grow your practice through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals.
Responsibilities
- Provide wealth management and financial planning advice to existing Schwab clients
- Grow your practice through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals
- Adapt and implement change as the market and business conditions evolve
- Leverage Schwab specialists, Schwab advice guidelines, your knowledge of the markets, and your ability to inspire action to help your clients achieve their goals
- Manage wealth on behalf of clients including: Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking & Lending Management, Insurance & Risk Management, and Estate Planning
Requirements
- A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required
- Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance as required during your tenure on the job
- Ability to build strong relationships, engage and encourage trust, and deepen the client relationship by applying a focused client communication strategy, and exceeding client expectations
- Openness to manage wealth on behalf of our clients including: Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking & Lending Management, Insurance & Risk Management, and Estate Planning
- Desire to provide an outstanding investor experience in addition to furthering your own professional development in Wealth Management
Qualifications
- Strong candidates will also learn to leverage our team of Schwab specialists, Schwab advice guidelines, your knowledge of the markets, and your ability to inspire action to help your client’s progress toward achieving their goals.
Skills
- Ability to adapt and implement change as the market and business conditions evolve
- Passion for community engagement to share and engage clients in discussion about market conditions, sound investing principles, and the ideal wealth and long-term investment strategies for their personal situation
