Video Monitoring Technician/ Patient Observer

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant observation of assigned patient(s).
• Monitor patients for changes in behavior or condition and promptly communicate concerns to the RN.
• Document care and observations as required.
• Receive and provide detailed handoff information regarding the patient and their status.
• Assist patients with feeding as directed by the RN.
• Assist in the event of a patient fall according to hospital procedures.
• Maintain patient safety, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0–1 year of healthcare experience preferred; candidates interested in beginning a career in healthcare are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to verbally calm and reassure patients.
• Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in stressful situations.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing a safe environment for patients.

Additional Details

This is an onsite position located at 1575 Cambridge Street.

Schedule

• Scheduled weekly hours: 40
• Work shift: Rotating (United States of America)

Pay

Pay range: $17.71 - $24.28/hourly (Grade 2). At Mass General Brigham, base pay is determined by skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, and other essential factors. The provided range is based on minimum job qualifications.
