BNY is seeking a future team member for the role of VP, Market Intelligence/Research/Strategy, located in New York City, NY. The Vice President of Market Intelligence/Research/Strategy for the Global Clearing platform plays a critical role in advancing BNY's strategic objectives through data-driven insights and market analysis.
This position is pivotal in maintaining BNY's competitive edge by leveraging comprehensive data and quantitative analysis to inform strategic decision-making. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis by utilizing advanced data and quantitative techniques to provide strategic insights.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance BNY's market position, by demonstrating expertise in market intelligence methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and drive innovation through data-driven decision-making.
- Lead projects that require comprehensive research and strategic planning, ensuring alignment with BNY's strategic pillars and principles.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to anticipate market shifts and capitalize on opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred. 5-10 years of experience. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a proven ability to analyze complex data sets. Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey insights and strategies. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Pay
The base salary for this position is expected to be between $83,000 and $134,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
