About the role

Vice President, Influencer Marketing at Small Girls PR is responsible for managing overarching strategy and client relationships, driving novel initiatives that drive social virality and press headlines, overseeing integrated campaigns, and leading a team of junior staffers.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize breakthrough, culturally resonant ideas that redefine client positioning and generate meaningful earned impact.
  • Push teams and clients toward breakthrough thinking, identifying white space opportunities and transforming insights into ownable, conversation-driving campaigns.
  • Drive enterprise-level, long-term communications strategy and architect tentpole campaigns for a portfolio of key clients.
  • Serve as a senior strategic advisor to clients, setting vision, KPIs, success frameworks, and measurement standards.
  • Lead cross-disciplinary integration across Experiential, Paid Media and Press teams ensuring campaigns are cohesive, insight-driven, and performance-oriented.
  • Oversee team structure and resourcing across accounts, mentoring junior team members while fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Own the strategic direction, oversight, and optimization of paid and earned influencer ecosystems across various platforms.
  • Manage influencer budgets where applicable, ensuring fiscal responsibility, efficiency, and strong ROI.
  • Translate complex performance data into executive-ready insights and establish measurement frameworks rooted in industry benchmarks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience within the influencer marketing and earned PR spaces (agency or in-house).
  • Experience negotiating contracts, creating and managing successful influencer campaigns, and maintaining a strong network of influencer, agent, and media relationships.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to push beyond the expected to develop breakthrough ideas that elevate brands and spark conversation.
  • Strong presentation skills, able to command the room with confidence and clarity.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, able to monitor progress and provide project management to the team.
  • Deep knowledge of influencer trends, current and emerging social platforms, content formats, and analytics.
  • High-impact client leadership, able to instill client confidence and guide discussions to actionable outcomes.
  • Data-driven, capable of analyzing performance, developing insights, and delivering actionable reports.
  • Content and trend obsessed, constantly dreaming up innovative, engaging, and creative campaign ideas rooted in compelling cultural insights.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing strategic influencer and press campaigns that achieve client goals and KPIs.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a team of junior staffers.
  • Ability to operate as a senior strategic advisor and lead cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience in managing influencer budgets and optimizing influencer ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of industry benchmarks and the ability to establish measurement frameworks.

Pay

$146,500 - $156,000 annually.

Schedule

Hybrid schedule with two days a week in the office.
