Vice President, FIG Client Coverage

About the role

This role is in New York, NY – Hybrid. In this role, you’ll make an impact by:

• Working with the firm’s largest client relationships and respective coverage teams to progress commercial efforts.
• Conducting analyses and developing insights to support decision-making through delivering concrete outcomes and communicating progress to senior leadership.
• Independently owning workstreams end-to-end; leading the strategy, designing the process, and driving the execution of enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Cultivating and leveraging a strong network across the BNY enterprise.
• Communicating effectively with key business partners and senior stakeholders.
• Developing and delivering both informational and decision-seeking reports, analyses, and/or presentations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 5-8 years of total work experience preferred.

• Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to produce professional output in different formats; strong writing ability and an eye for detail are a must.
• Ability to grow within the role – develop stronger leadership and influencing skills, recognized collaborator by colleagues and clients.
• Effective team member with the willingness and eagerness to tackle new challenges and work across numerous workstreams.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure with a track record of delivering against deadlines.

Pay

The expected base salary for this position when employment commences can be found in the Job Info section at the bottom of the posting. Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Eligible employees also may receive other benefits (including various paid time off benefits, such as vacation and sick time), if hired, the employee will be in an “at will” position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payments or compensation programs) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
