Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine animal husbandry procedures.
- Consult with veterinarians on clinical case management and treatment of animals.
- Complete the collection, maintenance and compliance of written documentation and records.
- Manage and record animal clinical cases independently.
- Absorb and communicate clinical care plans with investigators.
- Assist with receiving and shipping laboratory animals.
- May perform behavioral studies, animal breeding colony management, and diagnostic lab techniques including in-house parasitology and basic microscopy.
- Assist with animal experimental techniques such as restraint, IM, IV, IP and SQ injections, blood and tissue collection, necropsy, anesthesia and analgesia, and surgery techniques.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or graduation equivalent.
- One year of related experience.
