About the role
VCA Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Internal Medicine Team. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate dedication, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong focus on patient care. Responsibilities
- Compassionate patient care
- Maintenance of Internal Medicine Equipment
- Client education and care
- Hospitalization/ICU care
- Anesthesia induction and monitoring
- Surgical preparation and assisting
- Radiology
- Laboratory sample collection and diagnostic testing
- Venipuncture, catheterization
- Pharmacy
- Medical record keeping
Requirements
- Experience in veterinary medicine
- Strong technical skills
- Genuine compassion for animals
- Attention to detail
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT)
- Knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Schedule
Full-time (4) 10 hr shifts.
