Veterinary Technician Internal Medicine

Duties

• Procedural anesthesia monitoring
• Full Technician Skill Utilization
• Bronchoscopy
• Endoscopes
• and more!
• Collecting patient histories & thorough physical exams
• Venipuncture / IVC placement
• Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
• Providing compassionate care for all patients

Qualifications

• Experience as a licensed veterinary technician
• Desire to expand skills and pursue career growth

Benefits

• Compensation: $32 – $38 / hour based on skill set, 3 -5 years of experience, and licensure status (LVT, VTS)

About the Role

VCA VREC Westbury is a 24-hour Emergency / Specialty hospital offering multiple specialties including Emergency & Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Oncology. We are Trauma Level 1 Certified and offer advanced diagnostic and treatment modalities such as MRI, CT, and Fluoroscopy.
