Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician

We help our patients receive advanced medical treatments and innovations such as chemotherapy, radiation, cardiac ablations, treatments for glaucoma, physical rehabilitation, and dermatology. Proposed Schedule

Internal Medicine: Monday-Thursday 8a-530p

What You’ll Do

• Set up constant rate infusions (CRI).
• Calculate all medical math including advanced and CRI (mcg/mg, %/mg, etc).
• Induce, monitor, and recover patients from anesthesia.
• Set up for ultrasound and radiology procedures.
• Set up and assist with endoscopic procedures (GI, nasal, urinary, airway).
• Patient discharge and client education.

Who You Are

• State Registered Veterinary Technician license preferred.
• Prior veterinary experience required, previous internal medicine or anesthesia experience desired.
• Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.).
• Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
