Description

The Internal Medicine team at MedVet is dedicated to providing advanced medical treatments and innovations, including chemotherapy and radiation, cardiac ablations, treatments for glaucoma, physical rehabilitation, and dermatology. Responsibilities

  • Set up for ultrasound and radiology procedures.
  • Set up and assist with endoscopic procedures (GI, nasal, urinary, airway).
  • Manage appointments, obtain histories, and update patient information.
  • Accurate and thorough documentation of medical records.
  • Patient discharge and client education.

Requirements

  • Prior veterinary experience required, previous internal medicine experience desired.
  • Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.).
  • Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

Prior veterinary experience required, previous internal medicine experience desired. Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.). Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary. Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Skills

Experience in setting up for ultrasound and radiology procedures, assisting with endoscopic procedures, managing appointments, updating patient information, and documenting medical records. Strong communication skills.
