Veterinary Technician - Critical Care

About the role

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights and weekends and holidays. As An ICU/Critical Care Technician, You Will:

  • Triage and obtain patient history
  • Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
  • Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
  • Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
  • Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
  • Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers
  • Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Passionate about veterinary medicine
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience in critical care or similar field preferred

Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted license to practice veterinary technology in the state of [State]
  • Bachelor’s degree in veterinary technology or related field

Pay

The pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system. Pay range is $20.00 - $40.00 / hour.
