Veterinary Technician - Critical Care
About the role
We are hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician to join our team at BluePearl Pet Hospital in Nashville, TN. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights and weekends and holidays. As An ICU/Critical Care Technician, you will triage and obtain patient history, identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR, place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines, monitor and care for ventilator cases, work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients, and have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers. Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents.
Responsibilities
- Triage and obtain patient history
- Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
- Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines

Requirements
- Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S.
- Not required to work in the U.S.

- Experience in critical care and emergency veterinary medicine
