Veterinary Technician - Critical Care

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVC’s and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers
• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents

Requirements

• Flexibility to work nights and weekends and holidays
• Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S.
• Not required for future sponsorship for an employment-based green card

Qualifications

• Experience in critical care veterinary settings preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passionate about animal care and patient outcomes
