HVAC Technician

Primary Goals and Responsibilities

• Corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment and/or building facilities equipment.
• All activities associated with the operation and maintenance of the plant mechanical, HVACR systems & public utilities building along with operations.
• Mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic.
• Track & record usage of refrigeration.
• Support cross functional teams in maintenance related problem-solving process and continuous improvement activities.
• Assemble, install, repair, and dismantle industrial machinery and heavy equipment.
• Work from mechanical and electrical schematics, sketches, manuals, specifications, and written and oral instructions.
• Support equipment modifications and equipment installations.
• Required repair and lubricate machinery and equipment.
• Conduct routine audits and verifications to confirm the completion of maintenance activities.
• Arrive on the job, ready to work every day according to the work plan and schedule.
• Demonstrates role model behavior for safety, integrity and ethical standards.
• Ensure all work performed complies with environmental regulations.

Role Requirements

• Journeyman’s Card in relevant industrial field or equivalent
• 8 years of documented experience
• Experience in hoist maintenance, welding, pipefitting, small fabrication, and HVAC
• Experience in battery manufacturing in a plus but not required
• Universal EPA Refrigerant license preferred
• Backflow preventer certification preferred
• Good computer skills
• Experienced in industrial safety practices
• Professional, service oriented and easy to work with
