About the role
Crescent Hill Animal Hospital is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services.

Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role required
- Previous veterinary or healthcare-related front desk experience is a plus - but not required; strong customer service backgrounds from high-volume retail, hospitality, or boarding environments are equally valued
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Ability to manage a multi-line phone system while assisting in-person clients
- Experience with scheduling and coordinating appointments preferred
- Cornestone PMS experience a bonus
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide compassionate, professional service during both routine interactions and emotionally sensitive situations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Able to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
- Positive attitude and genuine willingness to collaborate with a close-knit team
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented during busy periods
- Maturity, emotional intelligence, and a kind, drama-free approach to teamwork

Pay
- $15.00-$17.00 per hour, for each hour worked
Schedule
- This is a full-time position, with a 4 x 10 schedule, Monday-Friday. No weekends and no on-call requirements.
