Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative

About the role

Ohana Pet Hospital of Santa Paula is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to become the next member of our incredible team. As the face of the hospital, our CSRs greet visitors with warmth and compassion, fostering trust in the veterinary team and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage the flow of appointments
• Provide empathetic customer service while multi-tasking between a multi-line phone system and in-person clients
• Process financial transactions
• Answer inquiries
• Provide essential information about the services we provide

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred but not required
• Proficiency in the following skills:
• Strong Communicator: Confident and compassionate when speaking with clients, whether in person, on the phone, or via email, and help build trust in the team.
• Hightly Organized: Keeps schedules, records, and client interactions running seamlessly, even in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Client-Focused Problem Solver: Anticipates client needs, resolves concerns with professionalism, and creates positive, welcoming experiences every time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid California driver's license

Pay

Compensation: $20-23 per hour, for each hour worked*

Schedule

This is a flexible, full-time or part-time position, with a 5/8 or 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday. Saturdays required
