About the role

University Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Client Service Representative (CSR) / Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. This position offers a supportive and collaborative environment, consistent scheduling, and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients while providing exceptional customer service
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
• Schedule appointments for wellness visits, surgeries, procedures, rechecks, and urgent care appointments
• Answer phones and assist clients with questions and hospital services
• Prepare and maintain patient records and charts
• Absorb and maintain accuracy in financial records
• Support over-the-counter product sales and client recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the reception and waiting areas
• Aid in client communications, reminders, welcome packets, and hospital correspondence
• Utilize practice management software and hospital systems efficiently and accurately

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Prior customer service experience required; veterinary or medical office experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and email applications
• Knowledge of veterinary products and services preferred

Pay

$19.18-$22.00, dependent upon experience
