Veterinary Project Manager
About the role
As a Veterinary Project Manager at Vetcove, you'll serve as the bridge between our Product team and our veterinary customers. Leveraging your experience managing a veterinary hospital and working within a software company, you'll help ensure we're building products that solve operational challenges for clinics.
Responsibilities
- Advise on Veterinary Workflows: Partner with product managers to provide expertise on veterinary clinic operations and workflows, helping validate product decisions and reduce unnecessary user research.
- Lead Cross Functional Projects: Coordinate strategic projects across Product, Engineering, Customer Success and Operations, ensuring projects stay organized and on track from planning through execution.
- Manage External Partnerships: Serve as the primary product contact for corporate veterinary groups, integration partners, and other third parties, leading discussions, gathering feedback, and driving collaborative initiatives.
- Support Product Launches: Partner with product managers and cross functional teams to coordinate GTM activities, stakeholder communications, launch readiness, and post launch execution.
- Bridge Business & Product Teams: Act as the liaison between product and business teams, helping align priorities, facilitate communication, and drive cross-functional initiatives forward.
- Career Development: Create and maintain project plans, process documentation, meeting notes, and internal resources that keep cross functional teams aligned.
- Champion the Customer Perspective: Leverage firsthand veterinary experience to ensure product decisions reflect real clinic workflows and deliver meaningful value to veterinary teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience managing operations at a veterinary hospital or clinic
- Experience working at a software or technology company
- Strong understanding of veterinary clinic operations, workflows, and practice management systems
- Experience leading projects or coordinating cross functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Strong relationship building skills with experience collaborating across technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to work independently while driving alignment across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Operations

Pay
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is: $75,000/year - $100,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations. For Colorado, the salary range is: $80,000-$95,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. This salary range is a good faith estimate of what Vetcove may pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
Schedule
Vetcove offers a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of our remote team members. Positions are typically full-time, but some roles may be part-time or offer flexible hours.
