Responsibilities
- Manage a team, schedule, and costs while focusing on safety and quality on the project.
- Lead and mentor as part of a diverse team.
- Solve problems and resolve conflicts.
- Manage financial impacts on site.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate subcontract trades.
- Interface with owners, architects, engineers, and on-site management teams.
- Award and manage subcontractors.
- Write and define project scope.
- Present and negotiate change orders.
- Prepare schedules and manage project progress.
- Develop project accounting skills.
- Use scheduling and software tools.
Requirements
- 3 to 20+ years of industry experience.
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects with minimal delays.
- Track record of delighting customers.
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management, Construction Technology.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Practitioner of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Experience managing financial impacts on site.
- Proven ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate subcontract trades.
- Ability to interface well with owners, architects, engineers, and on-site management teams.
