Veterinary Client Service Representative - Urgent Care

About the role

Thrive Round Rock is seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR)/Veterinary Receptionist to join their team. This position is full-time, working 12:55p-10pm (some days around 9:15pm), four days per week, with a minimum of two Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic’s appointment calendar
• Check clients in and out, process payments, and provide accurate invoices
• Maintain up-to-date client and patient records with attention to detail and confidentiality
• Communicate clearly with veterinary staff and clients to relay important medical and care information
• Absorb and assist with additional responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• Prior veterinary experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using practice management software
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Compassion for animals and a strong customer service mindset
• Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail
