About the role
Pieper Veterinary is seeking Second Shift Client Service Representatives to join their team in Middletown, Connecticut. The vision is to make the community and people and animals happier and healthier.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Handle patients on a leash or in a carrier
- Work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Remain calm during emotional and stressful situations
- Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and other staff members
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a veterinary setting
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology or willingness to learn
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a warm, friendly, and empathetic approach
- Ability to handle challenging client situations with tact, patience, and understanding
- Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work collaboratively with others
- Flexible to assist with other duties as needed
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Willingness to continue learning and stay updated on best practices

Pay
Based on experience - $18.75 - $24.75 an hour
Schedule
5 days a week – 8-hour shifts – 3:30pm-12am
Weekends and Holidays are required.
