About the role

We are seeking a full-time Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our Specialty team at Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care (PVESC). PVESC is a growing multi-specialty emergency and specialty veterinary practice located in Portland, Maine, offering a wide range of services including Emergency & Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Dermatology, Neurology, Cardiology, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a welcoming environment for clients and patients by delivering exceptional client service
  • Answering/responding to incoming communications such as phone calls and emails
  • Appointment scheduling and management
  • Communicating needs of clients and patients to medical team
  • Medical record organization and collection
  • Receiving and processing payments
  • Routine office duties such as scanning, faxing, etc.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service is essential
  • A positive, "can-do" attitude and a love for working with people and pets
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team

Pay

$22/hour, commensurate with experience

Schedule

This is a full-time position with the following available schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm Some holidays required
