Veterinary Assistant Supervisor

About the role

Directing workflow on the floor
Cultivate an engaging work environment and maintain our strong hospital culture
Work cohesively with hospital management and supervisory teams to aid in the progression of the hospital
Help with the interview process for potential new hires and onboard all new associates
Aids in the educational development of technicians and their skills
Provides opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience
Mentor technicians within the department
Resolve conflicts in a professional and humble manner
Refined and implement protocols
Ensure that VCA policies, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of clinical experience
• Team leadership experience
• Passion for Veterinary Medicine
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
