About the role

Veterinary Technician Supervisor position overseeing clinic operations and leading a team of Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants.

Responsibilities

• Directs work flow on the floor
• Cultivate an engaging work environment and maintain strong hospital culture
• Work cohesively with hospital management and supervisory teams
• Interview and onboard new hires
• Aid in the educational development of technicians
• Mentor technicians within the department
• Resolve conflicts professionally and humbly
• Refine and implement protocols
• Ensure VCA policies, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented

Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT, LVMT) - CVT preferred
• 5+ years of clinical experience
• Team leadership experience
• Passion for Veterinary Medicine
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
