Role Responsibilities
- Train, coach and supervise a team of ACA's.
- Participate in purchasing and receiving of food, and other operational items.
- Communicating and educating clients on medical procedures and next steps.
- Aiding DVMs and LVTs with patients during pre-op, surgery, and post op.
- Stocking exam and treatment rooms with supplies, maintaining a sterile environment for treatment, x-ray, surgery, labs, and isolation wards.
- Utilizing computer information systems to record patient history, update and maintain medical records.
- Precisely dispenses pharmaceuticals as required.
- Placing weekly inventory orders, managing on-hand inventory, receiving shipments, and processing returns/damaged goods.
Experience & Skills Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in animal husbandry.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent, AAS or higher preferred.
- Collaborate with other Supervisors, Practice Manager, and doctors to carry Thrive's mission statement.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, squatting, reaching, standing, and walking throughout the day.
- Inventory/purchasing experience preferred but not required.

Compensation
Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with a hourly pay range starting at $18-20/hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
