Veterinarian Criticalist

About the role

BluePearl in Christiana, DE is seeking a full-time boarded or residency-trained criticalist to join our state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital. Our critical care department has a high caseload and is a growing service.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care services to hospitalized patients
• Collaborate with veterinarians and technicians to develop and implement treatment plans
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
• Monitor and manage patient conditions in the ICU
• Participate in case conferences and rounds
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

• Board certification or completion of a residency program in critical care
• Experience in emergency and critical care settings
• Knowledge of advanced diagnostic techniques and treatments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Current DEA license

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Delaware

Pay

$171,000 - $224,000 annually
