About the role

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a full-time boarded or residency-trained Veterinarian - Emergency & Critical Care to join their state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and critical care services to a variety of animal species
• Perform surgeries, diagnostics, and treatments using advanced equipment including 64-slice CT, 1.5 T MRI, fluoroscopy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, chemo hood, ultrasound units, digital cytology, endoscopy, and radiology suites
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, internal medicine specialists, oncologists, and technicians
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
• Support the growth and development of junior veterinarians and technicians

Requirements

• Board certification or completion of a residency program in Emergency & Critical Care
• Experience in emergency and critical care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Valid Florida Veterinarian license

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited school
• Current AVMA accreditation
