About the role
BluePearl Specialty and Emergency Pet Hospital, located in Franklin, TN, is seeking a full-time critical care specialist.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside an experienced critical care specialist and a team of highly qualified licensed technicians, including a VTS in ECC.
- Provide support for the critical care department within a 11,500-square-foot facility equipped with advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with emergency clinicians and specialists from various departments including critical care, radiology, internal medicine, dermatology, oncology, radioiodine I-131 feline hyperthyroidism treatment, and orthopedic/soft tissue surgery.
- Participate in a robust internship program.
Requirements
- Board certification in Critical Care Medicine.
- Experience in critical care and emergency medicine.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Tennessee.
- Passing score on the AVMA accreditation exam.
