About the role

BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in Katy, Texas is seeking a full-time boarded or residency trained Critical Care Veterinarian to join our state of the art emergency and specialty hospital. We are looking to expand and enhance our current emergency and critical care department due to the high caseload and growth of the service.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 emergency care and specialty services including internal medicine, surgery, and neurosurgery.
• Offer canine hip replacement expertise.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools such as a CT scanner, ultrasound, endoscopy, and digital radiography.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development programs.

Requirements

• Board certification or completion of a residency program in critical care veterinary medicine.
• Experience in emergency and critical care preferred.
• Knowledge of Trupanion pet insurance and its benefits.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Texas.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Schedule
