About the role

BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in Oak Creek, WI is seeking a full-time boarded or residency-trained Veterinarian - Critical Care Specialist to join our state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital. We are expanding our current ER department due to the high caseload and service growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced critical care services to patients in the ER
• Collaborate with a team of veterinarians, technicians, and specialists in various fields
• Contribute to the development and improvement of critical care protocols and techniques
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Board certification or completion of a residency program in veterinary critical care
• Experience in emergency and critical care settings preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in Wisconsin

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited school
• Current AVMA accreditation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
