Venue Parking Manager - Mystic Lake Amphitheater

About the role
The Parking Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Parking department and ensuring all guest, employee, artist, and venue transportation needs are satisfied during event and non-event days. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all parking areas are safe, clean, and orderly.
- Maximizing space usage of all parking areas.
- Leading traffic control for the venue, especially at the start and end of an event day.
- Moving throughout the venue and conducting weekly lot inspections to monitor and take corrective action when needed.
- Providing guidance and implementing necessary adjustments.
- Monitoring ADA parking areas and assisting guests requiring accessible parking.
- Overseeing shuttle, rideshare, and bus drop-off areas to ensure proper flow and guest safety.
- Maintaining proper signage placement and collection during event show days.
- Coordinating with security, law enforcement, and emergency services during events when needed.
- Managing all equipment and inventory for the parking department, such as check-out and check-in vests and radios.
- Tracking parking equipment inventory levels and reporting when replacements or repairs are required.
- Interviewing, selecting, training, and supervising department staff to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
- Organizing and conducting meetings and communicating pertinent information to the staff.
- Scheduling and directing staff in their work assignments.
- Regularly reviewing and evaluating the department and recommending and implementing new operational policies and procedures when necessary.
- Investigating and resolving parking complaints.
- Interacting positively with guests.
- Participating in the venue's sustainability program.
- Partnering with fellow crew members at the end of shows to close the venue, which may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment, etc.
- Resolving parking lot disputes that occur.
- Assisting with long-term planning for parking improvements such as signage updates, lot layout changes, or traffic enhancements.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Combination of 3-5 years’ experience in a comparable role
Previous experience working in parking
Strong organizational skills
Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
Previous experience leading a team
Demonstrated ability to execute programs or new initiatives
Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+, and occasional sitting
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in Guest Service and communications
Strong computer skills in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other related computer programs
A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs

Pay
The expected compensation for this position is $32.00 USD - $40.00 USD hourly. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
Schedule
This role is a Part-Time Seasonal position.
