About the role

Venue Security circulates among guests and employees to preserve safety, order, and security of the venue property. They monitor and authorize entrance and departure, patrol the premises, operate detecting devices, warn of rule infractions, and apprehend or evict violators. They also participate in sustainability programs and assist in closing the venue after shows.

Responsibilities

• Circulate among guests and employees to preserve safety, order, and security of the venue property.
• Maintain security and safety of the premises by monitoring and authorizing entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
• Show CARE by participating in the venue’s sustainability program, which may include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste and educating fans about efforts.
• Partner with fellow crew members at the end of shows to close the venue, which includes collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricades, etc.
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from premises.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
• Security/Law Enforcement experience is preferred.
• Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment, and enforcement procedures.
• Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.

Benefits

This is a Part-Time Seasonal Role with a base pay range of $19.20 USD - $24.00 USD per hour. Live Nation Entertainment will provide reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities upon request.
