About the role
This position is responsible for providing instruction to students with significant learning disabilities.Responsibilities
- Develops lesson plans aligned with state standards.
- Adapts instructional strategies to meet individual student needs.
- Collaborates with special education teachers and related service providers.
- Evaluates student progress and adjusts teaching methods accordingly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with significant learning disabilities.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions for SLD students.
