About the role

This position is responsible for providing instruction to students with significant learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops lesson plans aligned with district curriculum standards.
• Provides differentiated instruction to meet individual student needs.
• Maintains accurate records and reports on student progress.
• Collaborates with special education teachers and related service providers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Florida teaching certificate in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with significant learning disabilities preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of assistive technology and accommodations.

Skills

• Proficient in using educational software and tools.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learners.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
